Privacy

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking of any kind.

Who is responsible

Marinko Parić runs this website. He is responsible for the personal data processed through it (the controller under the GDPR). His contact details are on the contact page.

When you visit the site

The site is made of plain pages. It sets no cookies and has no analytics, advertising or social media plugins. Fonts and images come from this site, so your browser does not contact other companies while you read. Only the private login page where Marinko reads messages uses one necessary login cookie, and visitors never receive it.

The server that hosts the site is in Frankfurt, Germany, in the EU. It keeps a short technical log of each visit: the IP address, the date and time, the page and the browser's name. The log is needed to deliver the pages and to protect the server from abuse (GDPR Article 6(1)(f), legitimate interest). The hosting provider processes it on Marinko's behalf, and it is deleted after 14 days at the latest.

When you use the contact form

The form sends your name, your email, your phone number if you add it, the topic and your message to this site's server in Frankfurt, where they are stored so Marinko can read and answer them. Your IP address is not saved with the message. The data is used only for that (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f)), is not shared with anyone, and is deleted within 12 months, or sooner if you ask.

When you write

If you write an email, your address and your message are used only to reply to you (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f)). They are kept for as long as the conversation needs and then deleted, unless the law requires keeping them longer.

Marinko's email address is a Gmail address, so emails to him and his replies are also stored by Google. Google may process this data outside the EU and relies on the EU and US Data Privacy Framework and the EU standard contractual clauses for this.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, limit its use, or object to its use. Write through the contact page.

You can also complain to the Croatian data protection authority, Agencija za zaštitu osobnih podataka.
